The other day, my cousin called me to ask if I could watch her kids for a little while. She lives in the community next door to me, so she is literally under a five minute walk away. Many times, I go over there to help, or she drops her kids off at my home and we have a fun time while she goes out to work, or to run errands and such. It is pretty exciting and the kids really love it when they come over because they know we will bake something delicious!
This time, I asked my little cousin what she wanted to make. I knew she would not choose anything too complicated and I was right: she chose brookies. I was not too sure what those are so I asked and she told me they are brownie cookies.
So half of them is like a chocolate chip cookie, and the other half is a brownie. Apparently, her mom makes them and they are great, so we got right on it. I cannot believe I had no idea what these were.
They were simple, full of chocolatey flavor and so delicious. I absolutely loved these and so did my family!
