Sunday football days are the best days at our house. We don’t necessarily love football, but we do enjoy watching the games, sitting around all day, and munching on the foods that we make. I am always looking for different “game day” dishes to try out. We like to prepare stuff together in the morning after breakfast, that way, when hunger strikes later on, we are ready with the pre-prepared dishes.
Sometimes its food in the crock pot, other times we make appetizers, and one of my personal favorites, are dips. This Texas Taco Dip from Life in the Lofthouse was a huge hit on Super Bowl Sunday. We had some extra guests over so we needed something that was extra hearty and filling to go around. This didn’t fail to satisfy.
Everyone continued filling their plates until it was completely cleaned out. It’s a good thing we had other foods to pull out after this!
Some of our friends even requested that I jot down the recipe for them so the next time they host game day, they can have this ready to go. I didn’t hesitate to grab the pen and paper!
