My husband and I always take turns making plans for our anniversary. That way, nobody is ever stuck with all the work, and each of us get a chance to do something special for the other one. Well, you always hear about the husband that forgets to make the dinner reservations. This year I was the guilty party that panicked when I realized that I had forgotten to book our favorite table at the seafood restaurant where we had our first date.
When I remembered, I instantly started brainstorming…How am I going to fix this? I took to the internet…because that’s where all answers are found these days.
On All Recipes I found this recipe for peppered shrimp alfredo. It was quick, it was fancy, and I knew my husband would love it. I told him that we were always so busy that I wanted to just spend time together at home, instead of busing it all over the city.
He loved the dinner and he fell for my excuse so next year it’s on him. Marriage win!
