There are times when I have such a hankering for a fruity dessert that has some tang thrown in the mix.
I know everyone’s first thoughts probably drift over to something lemony, but I just wasn’t into something with the zippy little yellow fruit. No, I wanted something better. I wanted lime. Limes have such a distinct flavor that is full of freshness and wonderful flavor. I also wanted something creamy. So, what better to feed my craving than creamy cheesecake lime bars?
These bars are super tasty and ever so easy to make. I whipped them up for a family reunion last summer and everyone ate them up like it was the last time they’d ever eat a dessert bar. I guess that means they were super good.
If you enjoy key lime pie you are really going to go gaga over these yummy lime squares. The graham cracker crust is absolutely delicious! I really couldn’t just have one of these yummy little things and neither will you. Enjoy!
