On a cold winter day, you can’t beat a nice hearty chili. When I went to visit my single Uncle Chuck, that’s usually what he had brewing. He wasn’t much of a cook, but he could make a mean chili. There was always something so unique about his recipe. It was like he just took every recipe he ever had for chili and mixed them all together. It was so full of all kinds of different flavors, I could never get enough of it.
Whenever I asked him for the recipe, he said that he was keeping it locked up. After all, he could get us to come and see him when he made it so he was going to keep it for himself for a while. When I wanted to make some chili at home, I found this recipe on All Recipes.
It looked pretty close to what we had at Uncle Chuck’s so I gave it a try. It was almost the exact same thing. It was so good we ate it for two days. I won’t tell my Uncle I can make this at home now, but I can!
