Cold winter days meant going to my Aunt Linda’s house to go ice skating on her pond. It was always such a blast. No matter how chilly it was outside, the adults had to practically drag us off that thing to come in and eat. We usually never made it over until after lunch time, so Aunt Linda always made us a great big dinner. She concocted one of the best beef stroganoffs that I had ever tasted, and I still haven’t found one that’s come even close to it.
I did find this recipe on All Recipes that is just about as good as it can get I imagine. I just remember back then, it was so warm, comforting, and delicious, maybe it’s the memories that made it so good and not actually the recipe. Not taking anything away from Aunt Linda and her amazing cooking talents of course!
I am going to keep serving this to my family because they all love it! There are never any plates with leftovers to be scraped off when I make this at home.
