I am all about making and dining on comfort food. This casserole is absolutely amazing! Even though it is in the middle of July and very hot and humid here in Western Pennsylvania, I am still going to turn my oven on and make this chicken cordon bleu casserole. I’d make it over a campfire if I could but heaven only knows how that’d turn out! A great experiment for a later date 🙂
I love everything about this recipe. The ingredients are simple and easy to obtain and the instructions are pretty cut and dry.
I think I shall serve this with freshly baked bread and a side of coleslaw. Yum!

Quick Tip: You can make with cooked chicken, just add the panko bread crumbs to the top of the mixture, with melted butter!
