Cupcakes are my favorite thing to bring at potlucks and reunions. They can be packed really nicely in boxes. They are also a guaranteed hit with the adults and most especially with the kids. They’re also my favorite thing to give as gifts to friends. All of my friends have a “sweet tooth” (just like I do) and they can never say No to delicious and moist cupcakes, such as these here.
Cupcakes are also my favorite go-to dessert whenever I am in dire need of sugar fix, which is why I always bake a batch whenever I have the time and stuck them in my fridge. They’re my emergency desserts too since my friends love impromptu gatherings and they seemed to love camping out in my house.
There are a lot of cupcake recipes recently that combine a lot of new flavors. Chefs and even homemakers are getting more creative and quite brave, experimenting on their methods and ingredients. This recipe that I just discovered over at Southernfood uses chocolates and sour cream as the main stars.
The tastes are quite contradictory, but they make one heck of a good cupcake that’s soft, moist, and chewy. This one is something that you will not forget for a long time. Its taste will be stored in your memory.
