These Chipotle Honey Short Ribs Are Too Sweet To Handle!

Ribs only taste good to me if they’re soft enough to fall off the bones. I always want to enjoy good food; and not spend my time trying to remove a hard meat off its bone. This recipe makes the meat so tender I don’t even have to use a knife. It can easily be removed with just a gentle jab of a fork! Our friend Yvonne over at Tried and Tasty has this to say about this amazing recipe:

“These fall-off-the-bone-tender short ribs are fantastic. A sweet flavor with the surprising kick of a little bit of chipotle. Perfect for any BBQ or picnic, but made in the crockpot they can be enjoyed all year long!”

They’re truly fantastic! With crock pot, they’re made even more tender. The flavors are also locked in more in the meat, making it tastier and more flavorful. The flavors just explode in your mouth once you take a bite of the meat! It can’t get any better than this.

Ingredients

2 lbs. Tyson bone in beef short ribs

2 (2 oz.) pouches KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce Mix & Dry Rub Sweet Honey

3/4 c. water

2 tbsp. Trader Joe’s honey

1/2 tsp. Market Pantry chipotle seasoning

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Using one pouch of KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce Mix & Dry Rub Sweet Honey, rub over all sides of the short ribs. Place short ribs on baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes on each side. While the ribs are baking, combine honey, seasoning and the other KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce Mix & Dry Rub Sweet Honey pouch. Add baked ribs and bbq sauce mix to a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Cooking time may vary between slow cookers. When ribs are tender, remove from slow cooker and brush with additional BBQ sauce.
