I checked my freezer one night and much to my dismay, we only had chicken left. We had just eaten chicken that night in a casserole. I really wasn’t looking forward to having it again. To the drawing board I went looking for a recipe that would give us a different taste to our normal chicken. Recipe Lion had this recipe for slow cooked chicken and noodles. That was different.
Slow cooked really caught my eye. I decided to give it a try. I tossed it all in the crock pot as directed and headed out for the day.
When I came home, I was struck with the most amazing scent of lemon and chicken. I couldn’t wait to get the family around the table to eat. Everyone sat and gobbled it right up.
There weren’t even any mentions of having chicken two days in a row. This is a recipe that I’ll be holding on tightly to!
