This chicken dish is also awesome to serve at big family gatherings or potluck dinners. I usually just bake it up as it says here, and then I throw it in a slow cooker on low to keep it warm. Don’t worry about it sitting too long. It always seems like the longer it sits, the more tender it is. Eventually it just falls right off the bone. The leftovers are always super tasty too. I even eat them cold! Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Food.com:
“Absolutely delicious! Super easy and quick… Great family dinner. Kids and hubby all loved it.”
When you want a nice homemade dinner on the table fast, you can’t go wrong with this chicken dish.
Ingredients
9 -12 chicken drumsticks
McCormick’s garlic powder
pepper
Morton salt
olive oil
rosemary (optional)
parsley
Instructions
Put some olive oil in the bottom of a 9×13 pan (just enough to put the drumsticks on).
Add drumsticks (space enough apart so they aren’t touching each other).
Sprinkle generously with pepper and garlic powder. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Add rosemary to the chicken, if desired.
Bake at 375° F for half an hour. Turn drumsticks over and add more garlic powder, pepper and salt (same as before). Top with the parsley.
Bake another half an hour, or until cooked until 160°F.
