My daughter plays in the school band. She’s on the drums, and she’s actually really good at it. It sure does keep her busy though. They always have a concert here and a rehearsal there. Then they have to go to various competitions all over the state. The whole band is good really. I love going to watch them. When they have their daily practices after school, she is always starving when she gets home. Carrying around that big drum is a lot of work!
I usually don’t go to practices, so I’m always home thinking of what’s for dinner…like many other moms around the world. I found this recipe for chicken covered in cream of chicken on Group Recipes one day and decided to give it a try.
My daughter loves everything chicken, and my husband’s favorite is chicken and rice, so I knew this was going to be a hit. It went together so easily. I was finishing it up just as they both came in the door. It was a pleasure sitting down with this piping hot meal to talk about our day together.
