My sister was hosting a birthday party for her husband last summer at their cottage. We love going there. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. The kids can run around and scream their heads off without us having to worry about the noise a whole lot. There’s a refreshing pond for swimming and fishing. It really takes us back to much simpler times. The only downfall to the cottage is, they don’t have a kitchen per say. They have electricity, but there’s no stove or oven to work with. I knew that we were going to have to eat something while we were up there, so I started scouring for crock pot recipes.
I found this one for chicken bacon ranch pasta on Julie’s Eats & Treats and figured it was worth a shot. I took all the ingredients with me up there and tossed it together the day of the party. It turned out fantastically.
Everyone, even the little ones couldn’t get enough. My sis asked that I make this again the next time I come up. No problem! It was so simple and really affordable to serving a large group. You’re family will love it too!
