My sister and I were the best of friends growing up. We were only about 15 months apart in age, so by that fact alone, we did everything together. We shared toys, clothes, and even friends. When we graduated from college, which we also did together, we went off on our own in separate directions for the first time ever. Whenever I was missing her, I always would make up one of our favorite dishes, chicken alfredo.
We made it at least once a week while we were in high school living at home, and in college when we lived together in our apartment. It was just like this recipe from Group Recipes. It was really easy to make, and pretty affordable for struggling college kids.
As soon as it was done, I would call her up on the phone just to hear her voice. One time when I called and asked her what she was doing, believe it or not, she said she too was making our favorite chicken alfredo.
Even when we were living miles and miles apart, our bond was still strong enough that we thought the same things at the same time. Pretty amazing right?
