Cheese and sausage are two of my favorite foods…, especially cheese. Yum! You can put cheese on pretty much anything and it’ll make it taste ten times better. Just like this spinach and sausage skillet. Normally, I don’t even like spinach but holy cow, folks. I dosed this one-pan meal up with some heavenly cheddar and away my taste buds went! My friend, Susan, has a grandma who made this meal.
Haha! Susan’s grandma sure was a riot. You never knew what you were gonna get from her. As Susan said, I’m sure dear old granny would have LOVED this meal.
Ingredients
1 cup cooked spinach
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp Kerrygold Butter
2 tbsp Philadelphia cream cheese
2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp Kraft shredded cheese (any kind other than mozzarella will do)
5 Lil Smokies (sliced)
Salt to taste
Instructions
Add the butter to your skillet. over, medium-high heat.
Place the cooked spinach and garlic into the pan and simmer for a few minutes.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and cook until the cheeses have melted and the sausages are cooked through.
