When my brother got married, it was a huge event.
We didn’t think it was ever going to happen. He was the oldest of our generation in the family, but the last to get hitched. As a result, we wanted to go really big with the celebration. We knew that it was going to be the last wedding that we had in the immediate family for a while, and we wanted to go out with a bang. I took part in planning the wedding shower for my soon-to-be sister-in-law.
We decided that we were going to make the meal ourselves, so we had quite the task at hand. I remembered this recipe that I had found on the web for party-style potatoes so I knew that would be part of the menu.
They were really easy to make, affordable, and everyone loved them. We made a huge batch to go with our meatballs and other appetizer style dishes. The shower was a huge success, and everyone walked away with full bellies.
