My daughter was going on a field trip with her school. I, of course, volunteered to go as a chaperone. As a stay-at-home mom, it’s one of the many benefits of being able to be with your kids all the time. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of work that goes along with the job, but there are plenty of benefits too. The one thing about this specific field trip was the fact that we had to leave at five in the morning in order to get where we needed to go on time. I knew that we weren’t going to want to eat as soon as we got up.
We never eat that early. I looked for breakfast foods that I could make ahead of time and take on the bus with us. I came upon this recipe for breakfast wraps on Group Recipes and I knew it was the answer. I made a huge batch of them the night before, and loaded them up in the morning with all our other stuff.
When we started getting hungry during the ride, I passed these around to those that hadn’t eaten yet. By the time my container made it back to me, it was empty.
