Aunt Marcy was the best at making cabbage rolls. I don’t know where she learned how to do it, but she always served up the most delicious rolls I could ever find. She didn’t make them very often, because she said they were a lot of work. I never really understood the time it took to put the dish together until one day I tried making it myself. Only after spending several hours in the kitchen did I decide that there had to be an easier way.
With the technology of the internet available now, I took to it to see what I could find. That’s when I discovered this recipe on Spend with Pennies. It said it was simple, so I figured I would give it a shot.
Anything would be better than the hours it took to make the last ones I tried. These did come together quickly and the tasted just as good as I remembered. My whole family gobbled these right up.
Okay the kids didn’t eat any, but some day they will appreciate them!
