This is an amazing dish to take to potluck dinners. You can cut the chicken up into smaller pieces so that it can be served more easily at a social gathering. I usually double the recipe and allow a little more cooking time just because I like to fill the crock pot right to the tippy top. Usually, by the time the party is over, the dish is empty and I’m tired from writing down the recipe to 20 different people. It’s too good not to share though! “Okay so made this last night and it was creamy and delicious!”
If you like creamy chicken, this is the recipe for you. Oh, and it’s easy too…did I mention that?
Ingredients
6-8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 to 1 pkg dry Lipton Italian dressin mix
3 tsp. butter
2 small cans Campbell’s cream of chicken soup
3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
1 8 oz. pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
Instructions
Place all ingredients except the sour cream into a crock pot.
Cook on low heat 6-8 hours.
Add sour cream just prior to serving.
It is excellent over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. My kids love the mashed potatoes the best.
