Sunday afternoons spent at Uncle Bill’s watching football this past season was such a blast. We watched our favorite team make it all the way to the Super Bowl, and then they even won! The only stipulation to going over to his house to catch the game on his gigantic television was that everyone bring a dish to pass. There were usually quite a few of us, so there was always such a spread of food. We got to eat, watch the game, and enjoy each other’s company almost every Sunday.
On one such Sunday, one of his buddies brought over a tray of meatballs that looked a little bit different than any I had ever seen, kind of like these meatballs from Spend with Pennies. I couldn’t wait to try one. The smell of buffalo sauce hit my nose and I knew that I would love them.
I made myself a mini sub with the bleu cheese dressing that was provided and the thing basically melted in my mouth…I had to search the party and find out who made those meatballs. It was his friend Jim’s wife. I made sure to have her write it down before we left!
