I love a good cut of meat. You know, something that is thick, rich, perfectly cooked and hearty. When that is the case, I usually end up with something so juicy, I never want it to end. Well, so is the case with this brown sugar pork chop. I know, I know. It sounds a little bit strange to season this with brown sugar instead of salt and other seasonings.
But I am telling you, if you give it a try, you may just like it and decide you will always make it this way. I know I have. I discovered this long ago when I was searching for a good recipe to make for some dinner guests I was having over.
It was right after I had gotten married and I wanted to make a meal for my in-laws that would be memorable because of its taste and presentation. I knew I had to find the perfect one. Well, after much searching, I found these brown sugar coated pork chops and knew I had to give them a try.
They seemed to be the perfect balance of sweet and salty to go over a dollop of whipped potatoes, so I gave it a try and it was a hit!
