It’s peanut butter jelly bar time!
As a young child, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches were my favorite lunch item. I especially liked it when my mom would make the sandwiches with her homemade preserves. So yummy! Mom made all kinds of jams and jellies but my fave would have to of been her peach preserves. These peanut butter and jelly cookie bars bring back so many childhood memories. I used grape jelly when I made my batch but you may use any type of jam or jelly that you have on hand. My son is standing behind me as I type this and wants me tot ell you not to use orange marmalade because it’s gross. LOL Those are his words and not mine. I like orange marmalade.
