The kids and I were poking around the internet for yummy treats to make during our homeschool cooking class. I didn’t want something overly labor intensive because we were on a time schedule and I wanted them to be able to finish quickly. So, we found a wonderful recipe for banana split icebox cake over on the get Me cooking website. My kids were sold on this dessert the moment they saw banana split in the title.
I’ll be honest, that’s what sold me, too. Plus, the recipe is an icebox dessert recipe. So, that means that it is incredibly easy to make and most of the “baking” takes place in the fridge. Genius!
