Banana Rama Lama Ding Dong Dessert: A Party In A Pie Tin!

As a little girl I can remember my mom singing the banana rama song to us girls. She was so funny! My mom told me that she would often sing the song when she was a little girl as it was something that her friends and her would often do. My mom was always keeping things interesting at our house. With 5 kids you kind of had to do that or else I’m sure she would have pulled her hair out. Good old mom!

Another thing my mom was good at was keeping a steady supply of desserts in our house. She was always baking things up such as this yummy banana cream pie…which requires minimal baking. Yay!

Ingredients

1 9-inch Pillsbury deep dish pie crust, baked

1 pkg (3.4 oz) Jello instant vanilla pudding mix

1 pkg (3.4 oz) instant banana flavored pudding mix

1 ripe Chiquita banana, mashed

2 cups cold milk

1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, divided

1/4 cup toasted coconut OR Caramel Drizzle

Instructions

Process the milk and banana either with a stick blender or a Ninja.  Pour into a large bowl.

Add the pudding mixes and using a wire whisk, beat for one minute.  Fold in 1 (one) cup of the Cool Whip.  Pour into pie shell.  Freeze until set.

When pie is completely firm, top with remaining Cool Whip and decorate with toasted coconut OR Caramel Drizzle.  Serve immediately or freeze until ready to serve.
