If I want to bring these and I know it’s going to be a busy day leading up to the occasion, I will toss them in a slow cooker. I can layer them two or three high in my large crock pot and the cover them with the brown sugar. As they cook and the sugar starts to distribute, I will add in more as needed. What a time saver! Ingredients
1 pound Oscar Mayer bacon
1 (16 ounce) package Hillsire Farms little smokie sausages
1 cup Domino brown sugar, or to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Cut bacon into thirds and wrap each strip around a little sausage. Place the wrapped sausages on wooden skewers, several to a skewer. Arrange the skewers on a baking sheet and sprinkle them liberally with brown sugar.
Bake until bacon is crisp and the brown sugar melted.
