Aunt Meredith is my husband’s aunt whom I love so much. She lives an hour away from our house and every time she has the time, she passes by to check on both of us and our sons. Aunt Meredith is a loving grandmother to my sons. She always makes sure she gives them a hug each every time they meet because she says that a warm hug can easily make anyone feel special. Start while they’re young so they will know the value and comfort a warm hug can bring.
Last time, Aunt Meredith stayed for dinner. I invited her because I felt like I hadn’t seen her for a long time and it would be nice to catch up. My husband would be happy to see her too.
She agreed, but she said she wanted to be the one to prepare dinner. I easily surrendered and gave her freedom to use the kitchen. I took advantage of the time to play with my little boys who seemed to become a little bit more independent by the minute.
The highlight of that night’s dinner wasn’t the roast pork though. For me, the highlight was Aunt Meredith’s sweet vanilla lasagna that just tasted so heavenly! What is Borden milk? Is it the same as condensed milk?
Hi, I make the Chocolate version & it also calls for milk at the same step. It just says “2 Tablespoons cold milk” so I would assume this one would be the same. The rest of the recipe is pretty close to the chocolate also. I can’t wait to give this one a try it looks really good.
Borden milk is just plain milk. They’re trying to get you to buy a certain brand. So again, Borden milk is just plain milk.
It is regular milk. Borden is just a name brand like Trader Joe’s, Horizon, Moo Milk, Earth’s Best, Silk, Dean Foods, etc.
Borden milk has been around for over 80 yrs. It is just regular milk like dairymen, Dean, any brand name. They had a logo Elsie the cow. They make ice cream, cottge cheese, butter, and many other dairy products.
