Last year, my husband and I were invited to join some friends of ours at a community fundraiser. There were tickets being sold to attend a night of fine dining, dancing, and good conversation. They had silent auctions going, raffle drawings, and various other ways that we could donate money. It sounded fun and we needed a night away so we decided to go along with our friends. When I saw the catering truck pull in, I’ll have to admit, I was a little nervous. It was a company from out of town so I didn’t know what we were going to get.
I’ve had catered food be really good, and I’ve had some that was terrible. This specific night, we lucked out. The meal was delicious. Instead of regular dinner rolls, they had these garlic cheese bombs, just like this recipe that I found on Spend with Pennies.
I only took one when I went through the line because I wasn’t exactly sure what they were. After I bit into it though, I slapped my hubby on the knee and sent him back for more. There was no argument on his part. He loved them too!
