If there’s one thing I miss about my Grandma above anything else, it’s how sweet of a woman she was. She was one of the, if not the nicest person that I have ever known in all my life. She would give you the shirt off of her back if she knew you needed it worse than she did.On the other hand, if you tried to take advantage of her, she would find out, and it wouldn’t turn out good for anyone.
Thankfully, I never had to experience that part of her. What I did get to experience, was how great of a baker she was. She could whip up just about any kind of cake pie or dessert you could think up.
My favorite though, was probably the most basic, apple pie. It was just like this recipe from All Recipes. After I found this online, I couldn’t wait to make it myself at home. I ran out and bought all the ingredients right way.
It tasted just as incredible as what I had remembered from so long ago. Now, I can make it for my kids, and at some point, my grand kids too!
