Tom has always wanted to be an astronaut. Every time he and his cousins talk about their dreams in front of us adults, it’s always what he says. He wants to fly to space and walk on the moon. His mom, one of my cousins, even bought him a space astronaut costume. It’s kind of pink though because it was an imitation of the one Gru of Despicable Me wore when he wanted to shrink the moon and capture it.
I thought it was adorable because it’s nice to have a dream while you’re still a kid. It makes you hold on to something. It makes you work hard for something. And Tom is one step away from making it a reality because he believes in it.
Another thing Tom believes most at is that angels exist and they fly. He also wants to be an angel, but it’s something that we’ve been discouraging him for. Well, it’s kind of otherworldly so we draw a line there. Our support can only be for his astronaut dream.
This angel chicken recipe that I am about to share with you reminds me of Tom and his dreams. It’s creamy chicken over firm pasta that you will surely love. This one will be perfect for Tom though.
But maybe we won’t tell him what it’s called. He might want to be a chicken next.
