A Piece Of This Brittle Will Always Be Too Little!

Mom was obsessed with peanut brittles. Sometimes she came home with bottles of them which were gifts from her friends who knew how much she loved them. Some of them, I loved too. The ones with the huge peanuts on them. I didn’t like the really thin ones with small peanuts. Those were mostly sugar and sugar always made me get tired of eating. Mom had her own recipe of peanut brittle.

She always made them and put them in these jars and just placed them on the kitchen counter. We were allowed to eat whenever we wanted to except an hour before dinner because she didn’t want us spoiling our appetite. She didn’t have a problem with me!

My mom made them with a lot of butter. The butter made it taste really creamy to the tongue and my obsession with cream just made it a hundred times better than her friends’ versions. I’m sorry, but most of her friends’ peanut brittles were really just melted sugar and peanuts.

I couldn’t taste a hint of butter in them; just sugar. Anyway, I found an easy recipe for peanut brittle that you might want to try. The steps are very easy and the ingredients are quite common that you might just find them in your pantry if you’re lucky. I will share them with you in the next page. Enjoy!

Quick Tip: You can put more peanuts if you want the peanuts really compressed.
