Deep Fried Chicken Better Than Your Mom’s!

We love a good fried chicken at my house, but when you get it from a fast food place you never really know what’s going to come in that cardboard container. There’s nothing more disappointing than a soggy chicken that is supposed to be nice and crisp. That’s what happens when it sits under a warmer for too long though. That’s why I decided it was time to try my hand at making my own fried chicken… just like my mom used to do.

At first I was worried that it wasn’t going to turn out. Boy was I surprised when I bit into my first piece. It was even better than I ever imagined.

It had the perfect crispy texture to it and the chicken inside was so moist and delicious. The next time I made it was when I had Mom and Dad over for dinner. Needless to say, she was asking me for this recipe before she left! I chalked this one up as a victory in my book.
