These almond butter cookie bars will make a perfect addition to the bake sale table.
Whenever my church hosts a bake sale you always see the same desserts spread out on the table. Chocolate chip cookies, pies, brownies, and cakes litter the event. I’m not saying that these items aren’t delicious and they always sell well but it’d be great if something a little edgier was offered, too. I came across this almond butter cookie bar recipe over on the Get Me Cooking blog and thought that it sounded really good.
In fact, my Grandma Lila had a similar recipe that she would make during the holidays. I wonder if granny ever made these yummy almond butter cookie bars for her church bake sales? If she did I’m sure they sold out in a heartbeat.
