I can’t begin to tell you how much my kids love this recipe for whole-wheat pumpkin bread.
In fact, those little turkey’s don’t even realize that this version of the fall favorite is actually good for them! In addition to using whole-wheat flour, I’ve even cut down on the sugar a bit. If you really want to make this a healthy pumpkin bread you can cut out the sugar altogether and use a stevia baking blend. It does change the flavor a bit but if you’re used to consuming stevia you won’t really notice it. I enjoy letting my kiddos help me make this yummy bread.
Allowing kids to help in the kitchen is a great way to spend time with them. I enjoy having those little helpers underfoot because let’s face it, mamas, they aren’t going to be little for long and they aren’t going to want to help you for long. Seize the moment while you can 🙂
