Nothing will beat Aunt Marge’s casseroles because she always gets creative with them. It’s actually proper to rename all of her casseroles “dump casseroles” because she literally just dumps everything in them and they all turn out delicious. That’s the funny thing actually. She usually just picks anything she can find from the fridge and puts it in a casserole. Then she pours cream all over it, sprinkles some salt and pepper for taste, and tops it with cheese before popping it into the oven.
When it comes out, it always tastes so heavenly that Aunt Marge would include it in her recipe book. However, this one casserole that she knew how to make was something that she got from grandmother. This casserole makes use of turkey, mushroom, cream, and cheese.
She just modified a few of the ingredients to suit the taste of her family, but it pretty much tastes like the one grandma used to make. Believe me, I can still remember because it’s food. I always remember food. I found a similar recipe over at Food For My Family. It offers the same creamy taste that will remind you of home and comfort!
