Grandma Used To Make These, Yum!
I am a major fan of German food. My mother was always making German dishes when I was growing up and suppose it has a lot to do with our German heritage. Well, my dad’s German heritage as my mom is Polish and Hungarian. I think the three have a lot of similarities in terms of cooking, though. Anyway, mom would make beef rolls from time to time but her recipe was a bit different than the one I’m sharing with you today.
The first time I had authentic rouladen was at a German restaurant in Frankenmuth, Michigan. These little rolls of flavor quickly became one of my favorite meals.
You really can’t go wrong with beef rolls smothere din gravy and you cna serve them with a variety of sides. Enjoy!
