Cheesy Chicken Parmigiana Baked to Perfection

When it comes to Italian foods I’m all in.

I love lasagna, stuffed shells, and pizza. However, sometimes I need a meal that’s going to stick to my ribs a bit more and that offers more protein like this chicken parmigiana does. Guys, this stuff is GOOD. I love the tomato sauce and how it smothers the juicy, tender chicken breasts. Plus, you get to use a meat mallet. Fun!

Funny story, but I was pounding away at the chicken breasts and my youngest son walked in the door and thought I had lost my mind lol! I told him that I was tenderizing the meat so naturally, he wanted to give the chicken breasts a whack, too. We had fun making this meal 🙂

Quick Tip: Even though the recipe calls for canned tomatoes feel free to use fresh if you’d like.
