I am usually pretty good at coming up with a main entree for my family and I. Even the vegetable isn’t that hard. It’s either I steam one or pour one out of a can and warm it up. Unless we are having a salad, then of course no vegetable is required. Where I struggle a bit is coming up with different side dishes. If it were up to my husband, we would have mashed potatoes and gravy at every meal.
I like potatoes, but not that much. And honestly, my kids could live without them completely. Whenever I make them I usually have to heat up a box of stuffing for them to have as a side.
When I found this recipe for New Orleans baked pasta on Group Recipes, I knew it was going to be one of my go-tos from now on…as long as my family enjoyed it.
It went together really easy and it was so tasty. The picky little ones even had seconds of this. Now I make it whenever I can. It’s always just as good as it was the first time…this is one that doesn’t get boring.

Quick Tip: Add ham, shrimp, chicken, or sausage.
That was really messed up,it did not have enough sauce and kind of crunchy I would use more cream and see if that makes a difference.
