It was time for our monthly church luncheon again. I try to attend all of them, as there is a lot of important information shared that I don’t want to miss during the event. I also enjoy spending time with some of my closest friends. I was at a bit of a loss of what to make this time, because the decided to do a theme. They wanted everyone to bring in their best recipe for soups, stews, or chili. I didn’t really have my own recipe for a soup, so I took to the internet to see what I could come up with.
I didn’t want something that was going to be super hard to make, because I just didn’t have that kind of time. I didn’t have a whole lot of extra cash either, so I needed something affordable too. I found this creamy ham and potato soup on Julie’s Eats & Treats, and it looked just perfect.
It was really easy to make, and everyone at the luncheon just loved it. I make it all the time now. You can’t get much easier than this.
