My mom made meatloaf at our house growing up what seemed like twice a week. In reality it was probably every two weeks, but it was like it was always being served. Not that it was terrible, it was actually pretty good. The meat just got boring after a while. She never did anything to change it up. She liked her recipe, that she had gotten from her mother, and she was sticking with it. It worked while we lived there, but after I had kids of my own, I realized I wanted something more.
I know that meatloaf is a necessary item on the menu. It’s fairly easy, affordable, and for the most part, everyone likes it. When I found this bacon ranch slow cooker meatloaf on Julie’s Eats & Treats, I knew it was going to be a game changer.
I was right! This stuff was amazing. Everyone in my house, even my little boy who usually refuses meatloaf at all costs, gobbled up big portions of this stuff. I loved that it could go in the slow cooker, making my job a lot easier.
I think I have discovered my new meatloaf recipe! This one is here to stay.
