There are not many meals that are made at my house that don’t have a bread accompaniment. When I have a bread stick or garlic bread on the table, I know that my picky little ones will at least be eating something. Of course, I offer them the main course first, before bringing out the bread option. If I could eat bread for every meal, I would! While I was making a dinner of chicken alfredo, I started digging around for the garlic bread that I could have swore was in the freezer. It was gone.
I don’t remember making it but I know it wasn’t in there. I couldn’t go without bread, so I pulled out the crescent rolls from the fridge. As I was looking at them, pining over what I was going to do with them, I remembered a recipe that I had seen on Julie’s Eats & Treats for cheesy garlic crescents.
I had all the ingredients so I figured it was going to make a perfect match to the main entree. My kids ate as much as they were going to of their alfredo, and then I brought these yummy morsels out. They gobbled them right up. My husband and I loved them too! I make these at home all the time to go with all kinds of pasta dishes.
