Book club night is always my favorite night of the month. I can get together with my friends and talk about our recent novel. More so, we can let our hair down, relax, and forget about all of our other duties for a while. It’s only a few hours, but I look forward to it. Usually, after or while we are chatting it up, there is a nice spread of food for us to munch on. There really is no set assignments as far as who brings what when, we all just kind of take turns and show up with what we feel like doing.
If one week, someone doesn’t have time, we don’t give them any grief. This is supposed to be fun! At one of these meetings, one of the ladies brought in an amazing pizza dip, just like this one from Group Recipes.
I saw it and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I took a small sample at first. I didn’t want to be greedy! Then, after everyone tried some, I went back for a big ol’ helping. It was delicious. I was sure to seek out the person that made the dip and get the recipe from her.
Now I make this at home for game days and other gatherings. It’s always a crowd pleaser.
