Faster Than Takeout Pepperoni Chicken

We eat takeout at our house way too often. I will be the first to admit that. I’m not quite to the point of embarrassment, but it’s getting that way. The older the kids get, the busier life gets. As a result, I don’t always have the time to stand in the kitchen making a nice homemade meal. On the rare occasion that I do, it’s devastating when I watch my kids run out the door saying that they will just get something on the way. I worked so hard to prepare this, and you’re not even going to eat it?

That was the case at least until I found this recipe on The Pioneer Woman. This chicken pepperoni meat is the answer to my prayers. The first time that I put it together I couldn’t believe how easy it was.

What I couldn’t believe even more was how tasty it was. I had this whipped up in under a half hour and I made sure my kids sat down to try it.

They ate fast and were out the door in a flash, but they’ve requested it since then so I must have found a winner!
