Sunday’s at my house are a day for relaxing. Well, after we go and worship at church of course. Then, the rest of the day I like to sit around with my family, watch movies, play games, go outside, whatever we feel like doing…no worries.
It’s really the only day we have all together when everyone isn’t running in different directions. I treasure these days, because I know soon, they are all going to stop. My kids will be running off to college and Sunday’s will be no more.
So, when I find a simple recipe like this Swiss steak from Spend With Pennies, I take full advantage. Part of relaxing Sunday is a nice homecooked meal for me and my family. I just don’t want to miss time with them standing over the stove.
That doesn’t happen with this dinner. I can continue on relaxing while this takes care of itself. Everyone always loves it too and cleanup is done in just minutes. It’s the ultimate dinner for any Sunday night.
