One of my most favorite things to do on a Sunday after church is to enjoy fellowship at a potluck dinner.
As a kid, our church would have a potluck meal once a month and it was always something that I looked forward to. I remember during the service you could smell all of the yummy foods cooking in the church kitchen and you could barely focus on the preacher giving the message because your stomach was growling!
These dinners often consisted of casseroles, salads, and lots of yummy desserts. So, whenever I come across a casserole like this brown dish casserole I always feel feelings of nostalgia roll over me. Nothing but home cooking and belly-filling food!
I came across this delicious recipe for brown dish casserole on Facebook. The instructions are easy to follow and the ingredients are simple to get.
