I am definitely not an Asian food person. I just do not like so many veggies and chopped up everything in my meal. It is not something I enjoy nor do I find the food tasty…usually. My husband is a big fan of Asian food so we end up eating it pretty often. I have learned to find dishes that I do enjoy and it is not as bad as I once thought it was. Teriyaki chicken is one of my favorite dishes to eat at an Asian restaurant. My husband also loves that dish, so it is one that we share in common and often share at a restaurant.
I love to cook but have never really given Asian food a chance in my kitchen. I always stay away from it and if my husband is in the mood for something like that, I will order take out or we just go to a restaurant. I just never thought it was worth it so I stayed clear from it.
Now I have learned how to make great Asian dishes in the crock pot. The top favorite of both of us is Teriyaki chicken. I have learned how to make it just like the restaurant and it is outstanding!
