My Aunt loved hosting parties at her house. Even more so than hosting, she got so excited coming up with different themes. One such party, she decided to do a Spanish-Mexican theme.
Everyone showed up with their sombreros, we played Spanish instruments and listened to Spanish music, and most importantly perhaps, we ate Mexican-inspired foods! She always makes quite the spread at these things, but I honestly only expected a taco and nacho bar and maybe some quesadillas.
I saw all of that, and then I saw these yummy crescent rolls sitting at the end. I couldn’t wait to try one. In my experiences, crescent rolls stuffed with anything are usually pretty good. I was right!
These were a flavor explosion of Mexican tastes like I’ve never had before. I asked my Aunt how she thought of this and she said she found the recipe on Mom & Wife.
I was sure to get it from her so I could make these at home. They are such a crowd pleaser!
