There is something so great about always coming home to something sweet that is ready to enjoy. I realized that after I picked up a part time job in my area. I would leave to work energized and ready to go, but come home completely tired, exhausted and mentally drained, just wanting to plop on the couch and forget about everything around me. It was a rough few weeks getting accustomed to that job, but after some time, I was able to get the hang of it.
I would no longer come home so exhausted at the end of the day. However, I would still come home really hungry. I mean, yes, I am usually always hungry, but this time, it was just so much more.
I would come home after a long day wanting not just food, but a good ol’ sweet treat. Whether that meat brownies, cookies or cake, it did not matter, I just wanted something to eat.
Well, I searched high and low for the perfect sweet treat to come home to and this one won by a landslide. It is rich, creamy, crunchy and light all at the same time which is something I positively love about it!
