Two of the most served dishes in my house are tacos and pasta. One day, when I was struggling with an idea for dinner, I found this recipe on Spend with Pennies for stuffed taco pasta shells. How much more perfect could it get?
My kids are extremely picky, and trying new things is usually completely out of the question. That is, unless I can easily explain to them that it is food that they have already had and they like.
When these came out to the table, the usual moans and groans started until I told them what it was. “It’s just taco meat inside of noodles, nothing too crazy!” They all reluctantly took a bite…then, before I knew it, the pan was gone!
They really enjoyed this and so did me and my husband. We added our own extra vegetables while this kids had theirs plain. I’m always happy to add a new recipe to my menu and this is going to be one of those for sure!
