When my husband and I moved into our new home just 4 months ago, we noticed two big trees in our yard that were filled with fruit. We had no idea what they possibly could be, so we got out there and checked it out. Whatever was growing on the tree was 1, different on each tree and 2, too small to tell. WE waited a little longer and forgot about it. That is, until one day I saw a cat digging up a fruit that had fallen to the ground. When I went outside to look I noticed it was a mango.
I then looked at the other tree and realized it was avocado. I was elated! I snatched up a few, came inside and whipped up the fastest guacamole I have ever made. I tried it and ahh, it was just heaven. I then went outside, picked a few more and made even more guacamole.
I had it ready for when my husband got home. He totally thought it was store bought and then I filled him in. Those avocados were ours and we were going to be able to eat guacamole every day now!
