My husband and I are avid Disney fans. We have the Vacation Club, we have yearly passes and we know the ins and outs of Disney world. I used to go many times as a kid since my parents had Disney passes as well, but my husband never went to Disney World until he was 16. And then never again until after we were married (he was 27). So, I just KNEW we had to make it work so we could get some passes and begin going. Since it is only a 3 hour drive away from us, it is a convenient place to drive up, spend the day and then come home when it gets dark.
Not only is it convenient, but it is fun. In all that fun, we have taken a few behind the scenes tours of Disney world. One of the special things they pointed out on the tour was how popular their Dole Whip was. Dole Whip is Disney’s classic version of ice cream made to taste like pineapple.
It is creamy, sweet and perfectly refreshing on a hot Florida day. Well, as soon as I tried it, I was hooked, so now I make it at home with just 3 ingredients all the time!
